Cross-country skiing is one of the healthiest sports and is ideal for every age group. Exercise in the winter landscape of the Gastein Valley is like a fountain of youth for body and soul. Around 90 kilometres of groomed and excellently prepared cross-country trails lead through the imposing natural scenery of Gastein.
Not far from the residence is the Böckstein cross-country ski trail. From here it goes five kilometres through the Gastein Valley. The biathlon stand is located directly in Böckstein. The Böckstein cross-country trail is illuminated until around 11 pm, so you can enjoy cross-country skiing until late in the evening.
The high-altitude trail in Sportgastein is at 1,600 metres. You can cross-country ski on the snow-sure trail until the end of April.
